1. Overview

Castle is an entertainment service compatible with Android devices, specifically version 6.0 or later. It is in full compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and India’s Copyright Act, 1957, and protects copyright laws. This policy outlines our process for addressing copyright infringement and counter-notifications, as well as user obligations to help us maintain a lawful and ethical streaming environment. We deliver ad-supported free streaming, live TV, sports and on-demand content to Indian audiences.

2. Castle's Function and Promise to Uphold Copyrights

Castle is simply a middleman that allows users to easily access content from trusted third-party providers. We are not hosting or claiming any copyright materials from any source, whether they be Movies, Web-series, Live Sports Streaming Channel, TV channel and Digital Assets. Nevertheless, we take measures to prevent the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted works and swiftly respond to legitimate claims of infringement from copyright owners.

3. Copyright Infringement Notice Requirements

If you own the copyright of a material, or are an authorized representative from that copyright owner, and have reason to believe Castle is infringing your protected property, you must submit a formal notice of infringement by delivering the necessary information listed below (incomplete notices shall not be considered):

A full description of exactly what was copyrighted and allegedly infringed upon – including “title,” “creator,” “original source” and evidence of ownership;

Clear identification of where within Castle the infringing content can be found (for example, by content category, title or other descriptive detail);

All contact information for you (full name, physical address and phone number);

A declaration stating that you are either the copyright owner or legally authorized to act on behalf thereof;

A signed statement made under penalty of perjury attesting that all you submitted is accurate and that no use of the content was permitted.

3.1 Notice Processing & Action

Our specialized team will verify receipt of a true and valid notice within 48 hours and commence an internal investigation. In compliance with DMCA rules and laws on authorship rights in India, we shall remove or prevent access to content that is claimed to infringe the copyright of others within 72 hours upon receiving a confirmation of this claim. We reserve the right to revoke any user's access to Castle permanently for abusing this feature without notice so that we can ensure that Castle remains a fair and compliant platform for all users.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you feel that your content has been wrongly taken down or disabled, you can submit a counter-notification containing the following details:

All of your contact information (including an email address);

A clear description of the content which was removed and where it was originally located on Castle;

A statement (made under pain of perjury) as to why you believe the removal was either wrongful or based on false information;

Agreement to jurisdiction in Indian courts along with accepting legal service from the original claimant.

If the claimant does not file a lawsuit, we’ll send them your counter-notification and put the content back up within 14 business days.

5. Liability & User Obligations

Castle is not liable for any unintentional copyright infringement due to third-party content providers since we cannot police all of the information in real-time.

If you use Castle (which works on Android smartphones 6.0 and higher), you agree not to upload, share, distribute or copy copyrighted material without the permission of the copyright owners.
